At Mondays meeting we will be learning about the upcoming Tulsa School Bond Issue. We will hear from Bob LaBass who is a Tulsa native and a Will Rogers High graduate. Bob has been responsible for administration of the bond program since the passage of the 1996 bond issue. Since his involvement we have passed 3 additional bond proposals in 1999, 2001, and 2005 totaling over $500 million dollars.

The 2010 Bond Proposal is scheduled for March 2, 2010 and is requesting a total amount of $354 million. It will be interesting to learn where the funds will be used.

We enjoyed hearing from our foreign exchange student Ayce last week . It was fun to learn about her native country and her experiences here.

We will be having a monthly board meeting this coming Wednesday February 24th at Te Kei’s Restaurant starting at 4:30. Board Members please mark this on your calendar. Any member of the club is invited to attend.
